William See

William "Bill" Leland See, 83, of Peoria passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at UnityPoint Proctor in Peoria.

Bill was born to Gilbert and Myrtle (Green) See on September 9, 1931 in Chillicothe. He married Erma L. Schlatter on July 3, 1954 in Chillicothe.

Bill is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mary See and Ann See of Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.

Bill worked as a carpet layer, and then as a laborer for Pabst from where he retired. He was a talented woodworker and also served in the U.S. Army.

A funeral service for Bill will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2:00pm at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave. in Peoria. Pastor Brent Farmer will officiate. A visitation for Bill will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be held at Parkview Cemetery.
