Shirley Wolfe

Shirley Louise Wolfe, age 84, of Bartonville, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Shirley was born on October 22, 1934 in Peoria, IL to Francis Gilbert and Margaret Marie (Combs) Anderson.  She married Leslie R. Wolfe on December 24, 1964 in Peoria and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2014.  Also preceding her in death are her parents. Surviving are her children, Mitch (Mindy) Wolfe of Marquette Heights, IL and Mark (Robyn) Wolfe of Morton, IL; her grandchildren, Greg (Britany) Wolfe, Derek (Brittany) Wolfe, Drew (Matisynn Ciardini) Wolfe and Colton Hanson. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and reading and she loved her grandpuppies. Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11am at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home in Peoria.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial of ashes will be held at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TAPS or Wounded Warriors.
