Sheryl Wynkoop

Sheryl A. Wynkoop, 74, of Pekin passed away on June 14, 2021 at UnityPoint Pekin Hospital in Pekin.

Sheryl was born on January 20, 1947 in Peoria, the daughter of Edwin and Betty (Lawson) Blase. She married Ernest Wynkoop in Pekin.  He preceded her in death on September 12, 2005.

Surviving is her daughter Suzanne M. (Ray) Baumruk of Libertyville, two grandchildren Jack E. Baumruk of Chicago and Spencer R. Baumruk of Dallas, TX, and a brother Robert E. (Judy) Blase of Grand Rapids, MN.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Sheryl graduated from Chillicothe Township High School in 1965.

Interment will be private.  A Celebration of Life will be held later this year.  Memorials may be made to SAMS (Stray Animal Midway Shelter) in Hanna City.  Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
