Sharon Davis

Sharon Kay Davis, 69, of Peoria, passed away at 7:07 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Aperion Care in Peoria.   She was born April 23, 1949 in Peoria to Joseph A. and Marian (Prescott) Hunter.  They preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.   Surviving are four sons, James Hawkins of Peoria, William (Kathy) Hawkins of East Peoria, Michael (Janel) Davis of Germantown Hills, and John H. Hunter of Peoria; two brothers, Bill Hunter of Peoria and Ronald Hunter of Missouri; four grandchildren, Ayla, Hadley, Coen, Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.   Sharon worked as a supervisor in dietary at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria for many years.  She loved to play pinochle with friends and family.  She also loved to fish and play board games with her family.    A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home in Peoria.  Cremation has been accorded.    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Illinois Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired or Any Local Fresenius Kidney Care and Dialysis Center.   Online tributes and condolences may be made at hurdfamilyfunerals.com.
