Ruth Ladd

CHILLICOTHE- Ruth Rachel Ladd, 75, of Chillicothe passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her home. Ruth was born on November 5, 1942, the daughter of Fred and Jessie (Kennedy) Muck. She married William E. "Bill" Ladd on August 25, 1962 in Marion County, KS. He survives. Also surviving is: one son, Michael (Lisa) Ladd of Madisonville, KY; two daughters, Patricia (Scott) Schoener of Flanagan, and Elizabeth Vest of Henry; and two grandchildren, Rachel and Randy Schoener of Flanagan. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ruth graduated from Washburn College in Topeka, KS with a degree in nursing. She was a homemaker and a member of the Chillicothe First United Methodist Church. Ruth enjoyed crafts of all kinds, including sewing and knitting. She loved music, and all sorts of outdoor activities such as fishing. A private family graveside will be held. Memorials may be made in Ruth's honor to the Chillicothe First United Methodist Church.
