Robert Westlake

Robert L. Westlake, 77, of Peoria passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at ManorCare in Peoria. Robert was born on November 11, 1940 in Peoria the son of Fred L. and Mazo H. (Ruthledge) Westlake. He married Mable J. Wiseman on April 24, 1987 in Peoria. Surviving are his children, Dellyn (Jim) Linder of Morton, Darrin Westlake of Chillicothe, and Dorinda Westlake of Kewanee; grandchildren, Jessica Linder of Galesburg, Andrew Linder of Morton, Chelsea (Robert) Barnes of Chillicothe, and a great granddaughter, Zoe Barnes of Chillicothe; step children, Jane Hamilton and Larry (Rose) Hamilton; step grandchildren, Tarra Hamilton, Marisa Motsinger, Makayla McKenrick and Kayla (Howard) Hamilton; and step great grandchildren, Jason Boggs, Mellony Boggs, William Boggs, Bella Hamilton, and Zachary Hall Robert served in the U.S. Air Force and reserves during the Vietnam War.. Robert worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for over 30 years. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, singing and fishing. Funeral service for Robert will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service time at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fellowship Bible Church, 4006 N. Sterling Ave., Peoria IL 61615 or to the family.
