Randy G. Rhodes, Jr.

Randy Gene Rhodes, Jr., age 20, of Chillicothe, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Chillicothe.

He was born on January 10, 2002 in Peoria, Illinois to Randy G. Rhodes and Melissa A. Craig.  Randy graduated from Illinois Valley Central High School in 2020.

Surviving are his parents, both of Chillicothe; his stepfather, Brian Pauli of Chillicothe; his sister, Sebrina (Noah) Heredia and his niece and nephew, Enzo and Esme Heredia, all of Chillicothe; his grandmother, Peggy Craig; his aunts and uncles, Tom (Sandy) Craig of Pekin, IL, Cheryl Craig of Manito, IL, Michelle Craig of Jacksonville, FL and Andrew (Pamela) Rhodes of West Chester, OH; and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carol and Wilma Rhodes; his maternal grandfather, Tom Craig; his aunt, Rebecca North; and his uncle, Jeremy Craig.

Randy attended Crossword Café in Chillicothe.  He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others.  He never met a stranger and was friends with everyone.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed working with his hands.  Randy was fearless.  He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and drag racing but above all he loved his family and spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe with a service held at 6pm.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.  Memorials in Randy’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com
