Randy Nowlin

Randall E. “Do-Dah” Nowlin, age 66, of Nauvoo, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria surrounded by his family.

Randy was born on November 30, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Ernest and Maralyn (Lucas) Nowlin.

Surviving are his sisters, Cindy (Phillip) Salata of Fort Myers, FL, Tina (Rick) March of Chillicothe, IL, Candice (Drew) Westgard of Derry, NH and Carol (Todd) Harney of Windermere, FL; five nieces and two nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy worked for 29 years for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 2005 as an Engineer.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially his fishing trips up to Chetek, Wisconsin, and was a big ZZ Top fan.

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11am at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.  Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Chillicothe City Cemetery following the funeral service.  Memorials may be made to Second Wind Lung Transplant Support Services in St. Louis, MO.  Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com
