NYAMULENGWA Francois

NYAMULENGWA MUBALAMA Francois, 52, formerly of Peoria passed away on June 22, 2018 in Nairobi Kenya Africa. He was born on Sept. 9, 1965 in Bukavo, D.R. Congo the son of NAYAMULENGWA NGWASI Charles and M' MWILARHE MUDHERWA Rose. He was the fourth in a family of ten, the brother of Roger, Pascal, Paul, Yvonne, Simon, Achille, Charlotte, Marguerite and Vivian. Francois went to school in Bukavu, Kibomo and Kindu. He completed his tertiary studies in Theology in D.R. Congo before coming to the U.S. He also had a Master's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics. Francois married the love of his life, Francoise KENGA MUZELEA on Dec. 3, 2005 and they are blessed with five children, Laini Jose', Bragard Bushiri, Jah Yvonne, Jehu Xvier and Jane Yoha. Francois was a servant of God. It is while in Kindu that he was called to serve the Lord; from there, he went to Butembo and then to the U.S. He served as the associate pastor at Maranatha Fellowship Church located at 1316 S. Laramie and other churchs in the US Francois will be remembered as a dedicated Christian, a leader, sensitive, helpful, optimistic and determined person. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21nd, 2018 at 10:15 am at the First Christian Church located at 6400 N. University, Peoria. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5-7:00 pm at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service time at the church. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery Peoria, IL.
