Neoma Faye Trimble, age 91, of Peoria, was taken to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 8:25 AM at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on June 5, 1926 to Morrison and Georgia Ethel (Pierce) Scott in Milford, IL, and grew up in Danville, IL. Neoma married William L. Trimble on April 30, 1944. She moved to Peoria with her husband in 1947 and accompanied him to Decatur, back to Peoria, and then to Sao Paulo, Brazil, Piracicaba, Brazil, Joliet, IL, and finally Monterrey, Mexico where her husband retired. They then lived in Peoria. Neoma was passionate about raising her family, being a homemaker, her church, Trinity Lutheran, and her dog. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, and three sisters. She is survived by her son Chris (Vicki) Trimble of Peoria; grandson, WIlliam (Courtney) Trimble of Louisville, KY; granddaughter Holli (Luke) Polansky of Anchorage, AK; and three great-grandchildren, Owen Trimble and Andrew and Simon Polansky. A graveside service for Neoma, as per her request, will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, IL. Reverend Mark Nelson and Reverend Matthew Synnott will officiate. Memorials in honor of Neoma may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria.
