Michael Bishop

Michael John Bishop, 58, formerly of Chillicothe, IL, passed away In Peoria on January 10, 2016. He was born to Samuel Bishop and Betty Bishop on August 4, 1957 in Peoria, IL. Mike resided at Heritage 53 ARC in Moline, IL for 30 years but spent his last two years with Bethesda Lutheran Communities in Peoria. Mike is survived by his sister, Barbara (Bishop) Schoonover of Spring, TX. He was preceded in death by both his parents in 2015. Donations can be made to Mike's most recent day program - Tazewell County Resource Center, 21310 Illinois Route 9, Tremont, IL 61568-9703. Cremation rites will be accorded with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Galesburg to be held at a later date.
