Matthew Kinman

Matthew Scott Kinman, 40, of Peoria passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at his home in Peoria.

Matt was born to Judy Kinman on February 14, 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is survived by his mother, Judy, of Peoria; his girlfriend Jessica Mabee and their two sons, Tyler and Ethan Kinman, all of Chillicothe; another son, Trace Errion, of Peoria; his aunt, Becky Brooks of Peoria, and several cousins.

Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents and two uncles.

He attended Woodruff High School. He received his GED and then went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Midstate College.

Matt owned his own construction business, BK Construction. He loved listening to music, attending concerts, and going to water parks with his children.

A funeral service for Matt will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave. in Peoria. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Chillicothe City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Matt may be made to his mother, Judy Kinman, to be placed into an educational fund for his children.
