Mary Rogers

Mary E. Rogers, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Mary was born on January 29, 1951 in Peoria the daughter of Roy and Barbara (Riggs) Niehause.  She is survived by her husband, William A. “Bill” Rogers, whom she married on April 15, 1972 in Pekin.  Also surviving are her children, Veronica (Eric) Sommer of East Peoria, Dominica Rogers of Chillicothe, and Carl Rogers of Rome and four grandchildren.

Mary was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made in Mary’s name to the American Cancer Society.  Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
