Lee E. Blew, 81, of Cape Canaveral, FL, formerly of Chillicothe passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL.
Lee was born on July 21, 1940 in Peoria the daughter of Charles and Floye (Weesner) Hoyt. She married Jerry L. Blew on January 7, 1961 in Peoria.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry L. Blew; her children, Jean (Tony) Sproles, Joy (Rich) Yanni, Jerry (Cynthia) Blew, and Jan Blew; grandchildren, Matt (Courtney) Jonas, Sarah (Bobby) Shoemaker, Marc (Andrea Vella) Yanni, Austin (Tiffany) Sproles, Tyler Ingham, Taylor Blew, Jordan Blew, and Peyton Blew; great-grandchild, Evelyn Shoemaker; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Reed and Lucinda (Stuart) Schmidgall; and a sister-in-law, Janet Culbertson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Floye Hoyt, her in-laws Homer and Dorah Blew, and brother-in-law, Tony Blew.
Lee devoted most of her life to raising her four children. She was a loving, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She held a special bond with each of her eight grandchildren, and was seen by everyone she met as a sweetheart. She loved cheering her grandkids, crafting, and decorating everything for Christmas. We know she’s already an angel because she’s been one her whole life.
A private graveside service at the Chillicothe City Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10:00-11:30 am at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
