LaRue Dormus "Red" Kissee passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
He was born on January 29, 1933 in Eagle, KY, the son of Robert and Flossie Kissee. He married Evelyn Alsip on June 29, 1953.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Bruce LaRue; one daughter, Sherrie Kay; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; one brother; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He graduated from Ambia High School and served as an EMT in Lacon. Red worked at the Hennepin Steel Plant for 30 years.
Services will be private and are in the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Cremation will follow.
