Larry Waterfield

Larry Glenn Waterfield, 48 of Chillicothe, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Unity Pointe Methodist in Peoria.
Glenn was born on January 3, 1973 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Larry and Glenda (Johnson) Waterfield. He married Jacquelyn M. Schafer on October 7, 2000 in Princeton, Illinois.
Surviving are his wife, Jacquelyn; his children, Grant Waterfield and Gregory Waterfield all of Chillicothe.
Also surviving are is mother, Glenda; sisters, Glennette (James) Barclay and Lori (Marcus) Kugler all of London Mills, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry.
Glenn graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors in Physics/Computer Science. He also received a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
He attended Chillicothe Christian Church where he served as an Elder. He was a member of the Chillicothe Sportsman's Club and was a "car guy". He coached baseball for CSYA.
Glenn's most ardent wish was for everyone to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Anyone who knew Glenn knew that he was a tireless servant of Christ.
Funeral service for Glen will be on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Chillicothe Christian Church in Chillicothe. Senior Pastor Bob Hentrich will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2-4 PM at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Memorials may be made to his church, Chillicothe Christian Church.
