Larry Rickert

Larry Rickert, 74, of Ohio, IL passed away at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born to Dale and Vera (Erickson) Rickert on May 27, 1943. Larry attended Ohio High School where he was a star athlete in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Business Administration and worked in the title insurance industry followed by a career in data programming. During his lifetime, he lived and worked in Chicago, Houston, San Diego and Myrtle Beach before retiring in his childhood hometown. While serving his country in the Navy, he was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Larry is survived by his sisters Lynn Schultz of Poway, CA and Janet Shaughnessy of San Diego; a nephew, Cory Iverson and a niece, Dana Marques, both of San Diego, CA.
