Kenna Spencer

Kenna Coleen Spencer, age 79, of Chillicothe, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Heritage Health in Chillicothe.

Kenna was born on December 6, 1941 in Peoria, IL to Kenneth Howard and Hazel (Gilham) Landon.  She married Gary L. Spencer on December 19, 1964 in Peoria.  He preceded her in death on November 16, 2020.  Also preceding her in death are her parents and an infant sister.

Surviving are her children, Kim Spencer of Lone Oak, Texas, Dawn (Terry) Spencer of Cleveland, TN, LeeAnn (Harold Hartley) Spencer of Chillicothe, IL and Gary (Stacy Hicks) Spencer, Jr. of Creve Coeur, IL; seven grandchildren, Joshua Spencer, Christopher (Erica) Wheeler, Cara (Raymond) Johnson, Kyle Dockery, Garrett Spencer, Phillip (Megan) Spencer, JD Spencer; and three great-grandchildren, Lucas Johnson, Elizabeth Spencer and Nolan Wheeler.

Kenna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed raising her children, spending time her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and being with Gary.  He was her world, her constant companion through thick and thin, her partner in raising their children and her best friend.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11am at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.  Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.  Burial will be immediately following at Chillicothe City Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Peoria Casting Club.  Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com.
