Juanita Ruth Stone, 90, of Chillicothe, passed away on November 8, 2015 at St. Joseph's nursing home in Lacon.
Juanita was born to Omer and Bess M. (Mc Cabe) Ransdell on October 10, 1925 in Forreston, IL. She married Ed Stone in Bradenton, FL in 1983.
She is survived by four children, Lise Rodgers, Rob (Angie) Semtner, Patrice (Craig) Semtner Espinosa, and Patrick (Penny) Semtner; one sister, Alyce Larson; and grandchildren, Andre (Catherine Gillespie) Hakes, Adam (Kara) Semtner, Louie Schmidt, Jessica (Marcus) Arevalo, Kate Schmidt, Caleb Semtner, Kevin Schmidt, Daniel Semtner, and Andrew Semtner.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, and two children, Daniel Rodgers, and Nanette Nelson Hakes.
She attended Chillicothe Schools and Bob Jones University in Tennessee.
Juanita worked as a supervisor at Pabst Brewing Company for 10 years and also the co-owner of Semtner Heating & Air Conditioning. She was also a former City of Chillicothe Alderman.
She was a former member of the Rescue 33 Women's Auxiliary.
It was Juanita's wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 6:00-8:00. Burial will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery.
