Janice W. "Honey" Gollnitz, 93 of Chillicothe passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at St. Joseph Nursing Home in Lacon.
She was born April 9, 1922 in Rome, IL the daughter of William F. and Mary (Gerscner) Droll. She married R. Paul Gollnitz on August 3, 1047. He preceded her in death January 18, 2003.
Surviving are one sister, Ruth McLaughlin of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.
Honey worked in the office for Bacon Electric in Chillicothe for many years. When it closed she worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for a short time before she retired.
Honey was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and a member of the VFW Post 4999 Auxiliary.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, Chillicothe. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time at the church. Burial will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Edward Crisis Group or to ARK
