Jacob Hutchison

Jacob Alan Hutchison, age 30, of Cuba, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021.

Jake was born on August 21, 1991 in Peoria, IL to Toby Hutchison and Jodie (Oliver) Stotler.

Surviving are his parents; Toby Hutchison of Edgewood, IL and Jodie (Ronald) Stotler of Chillicothe; his brothers, Joseph (Julia Kepler) Hutchison and Jayden Stotler, both of Chillicothe; his sister, Jessie (Adam) Palmer of Effingham, IL; his nephew and niece, Leroy and Lillian Palmer; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Jake was a big outdoorsman.  Whether it was deer and mushroom hunting or fishing, Jake loved being outdoors.  He was one who preferred to sleep under the stars whenever he could.  He also loved just hanging out with his constant companion and beloved dog, Bonnie.  Jake was also a great landscaper. Jake was living his best life; he had accomplished a lot of goals he had set for himself over the past year and he, along with his family, were proud of those accomplishments.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm with family and friends welcome to share memories at 4pm.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Drew’s Plots or to help with the celebration of life via Venmo @JoeHutchison.  Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com
