Helen Anne Clifford, 89, of Chillicothe passed away on September 23, 2018 at Evergreen Senior Living in Chillicothe. Helen Anne was born on October 1, 1928 in Speer IL the daughter of Roy and Mary (Carroll) Ratcliff. Surviving are her children, Deborah Block of Wyoming, Steve (Laurie) Gnehm of Chillicothe, Mary (Dale) Spencer of Chillicothe, and Lisa Cornelius of East Peoria; Grandchildren, Tory DeLong of Morton, Chad Vinson of East Peoria, Jeff Vinson of Peoria Heights, Sarah Spencer of Peoria, Rachel Vinson of Chillicothe, Brett Cornelius of Peoria, Maggie Cornelius of Palatine and Morgan Cornelius of Peoria; Great Grandchildren, Alex DeLong of Peoria, Teddy DeLong of Morton, Jamie Vinson of Rome, Mya Vinson of Rome, Marissa of Rome, Jaxson Corenlius of East Peoria; a sister, Mary Jane (Anil) Verma of Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, one sister, and one grandchild. Helen Anne retired in 1994 from Honda World in Peoria. She was a bookkeeper working most of her life for car dealers. Helen Anne would Crochet and Knit 100's of scarf's for the Owl Project, for children waiting for the school bus in cold weather. She loved to garden and build puzzles. Helen Anne enjoyed spending time with her family, anything that had to do with her grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5-7:00pm on Friday evening, September 28, 2018 at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. A family graveside service will be held on Saturday. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Princeville, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Edward Church Pantry, Chillicothe Veterans Memorial or to the Chillicothe Historical Society.
