Eva M. Cline, 64, of Chillicothe and formerly O'fallon passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Eva was born January 29, 1951 to John J. LaPayne and Maria D. Walter.
Surviving are: two daughters, Lena E. (Steven) Previll of Greenville, NC, and Anna B. (Kent) Smith of St. Louis, MO; one son, David M. Cline of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren, Dora L. and Greta M. Previll; two sisters, Johanna (Sam) McCullough of Danberry, WI, and Lynda (Doug) McKeown of Diamond; one brother, John R. (Melody) LaPayne of Edelstein; and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and maternal grandmother, Dora (Omi) Walter.
Eva was a retired Animal Health Technician.
Eva had a love for many things, including animals, gardening, and crosswords. She especially loved playing and FaceTiming with her grandchildren. She was a food connoisseur and an avid beach-goer. When Eva made a friend, it was a for a lifetime.
A funeral for Eva will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Chillicothe City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials may be made in Eva's honor to the ARK Animal Shelter in Lacon.
