Ellen Boulton

EAST PEORIA - Ellen E. Boulton, 93 of East Peoria passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Manorcare Riverview Nursing Home. Ellen was born on November 30, 1924 in Brisbane, Australia the daughter of James and Lucy Hall. She married Albert Boulton on July 13, 1973 in Peoria. Surviving are step children, Dan (Jane) Boulton of Metamora, Dennis (Barb) Boulton of Peoria and Donal (Fred) Meeks of Monterey CA; step grandchildren: Casey (Angie) Boulton, Cortni Boulton of Peoria, Andrew (Candice) Boulton of Beijing China, Russel (Emma) Boulton of Peoria, Elizabeth Boulton of Peoria and Christina Meeks of Monterey CA; step great grandchildren: Kaylyn Boulton of Peoria, Lucas Boulton of Metamora, and Lainey Boulton of Metamora; sister Grance Pinnell of Australia, brother Reginald Hall of Australia; and lots of nieces and nephews. Ellen worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company in the Engineering Department. She was very involved the Caterpillar Retirees Club. She was also a member of the First Christian Church, Peoria. Ellen loved to sing in choirs and travel. Ellen was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Otho Temple 36, Bartonville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at First Christian Church Peoria. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home in Peoria. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be made in her name to her church.
