Dolores Burnside

Dolores J. Burnside, age 89, of Mossville, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Heddington Oaks in Peoria. Dolores was born on November 2, 1929 in Peoria, IL to Fred and Edith (Veach) Grant.  She married Kenneth Burnside on October 17, 1987. Surviving are her husband; her son, Clifford (Susan) Evans of Bartonville, IL; five step-children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her two sisters, Carol Smith and Vickie DeWalt, both of Mossville.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dorance Grant and her first husband, John Barden. Dolores was a loving wife and mother.  She worked for F.W. Means in Peoria and she enjoyed painting and shopping.  Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4pm to 6pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
