Debra Lulay

Debra June Lulay, age 66, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her home in Peoria. She was born to the late Walden and Laura Staton in Metropolis on March 26, 1951. She married George A. Lulay on May 29, 1981. Debra is survived by her husband George of Peoria; stepchildren, Shelley Heaton of Georgia, Rachel Lulay of East Peoria, Natalie Read of Dunlap, and Todd Lulay of Peoria; and brothers, Joe Staton of Tucson, AZ, and Dr. Tom Staton of Metropolis. Debra was a member of Grace and Peace Lutheran Church in Peoria and was employed as an accountant for Girl Scouts of America for many years. A Celebration of Life service for Debra will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Grace and Peace Lutheran Church. Pastor Dick Hanson will officiate.
