Deborah Block

Deborah Ann Block, age 68, of Wyoming, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her home.

Deborah was born on December 15, 1952 in Peoria, IL to George and Helen (Ratcliff) Schultz. She married Doug Block in 1988 in Washington, IL. He preceded her in death in 2013. Also preceding her in death are her parents.

Surviving are her son, Tory (Michele) DeLong of Morton, IL; her grandsons, Alex and Teddy DeLong; her siblings, Shirley Dixon, Mickey Meyers, Ron Schultz, Mary (Dale) Spencer, Lisa Cornelius, and Steve (Laurie) Gnehm; and many nieces and nephews.

Deb had owned The Swan and Luna De Sol, both in Peoria Heights. She had also worked at Moon Dancer up until her diagnosis with lung cancer. Deb was a big lover of animals and offered her services as a dog walker to many people over the years.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to TAPS or to Illinois Cancer Care. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com
