Cynthia Dahlhauser

Cynthia Dahlhauser, age 74, of Peoria, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Toulon Health Care Center.

Cynthia was born on November 21, 1946 in Kalamazoo, MI to Ellis and Winifred (Kelly) Gardner. She married Steven Dahlhauser on March 30, 1968 in Springfield, IL.

Surviving are her husband, Steven; her daughter, Laurie Janes of Chillicothe, IL; her grandsons, Alec and Dylan Janes, both of Chillicothe, IL; one great-granddaughter, Leighla Janes; her brother, James Gardner of Springfield, IL; and many extended family residing in the Springfield area. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cynthia had worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell Telephone Company.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date in Springfield. Arrangements are under of the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
