Charles A. Seei

Charles A. Seei, age 87, of Edelstein, IL, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Charlie was born on January 19, 1936 in Peoria, IL to Charles J. and Bessie M. (Graham) Seei.  He married Joyce A. Johnston in June of 1956 and she preceded him in death in January of 2001.  He later married Gail McGinnis in 2011. 

Surviving are his wife, Gail; his sons, Mark (Mark) Seei of Rancho Mirage, CA, David (Teri) Seei of Peoria, IL and Matt (Stacey) Seei of Edelstein, IL; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife; his parents; one brother and one sister.

Charlie owned a graphics and print service business until he retired.  He enjoyed woodworking, riding horses and spending time with his family.

Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.  Memorials may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
