Bronwyn Townsend

Bronwyn A."Bronie" Townsend, 69 of Dunlap, passed away at her home, Monday, March 16, 2015.
Bronie was born on June 9, 1945 in Peoria to Marjorie T. and Robert N. Ingram. She married Daniel J. "Dan" Townsend on September 15, 1978 at Mossville United Methodist Church. He survives.

Also surviving are her four children, Stacey (Anthony) Pagliaro of Osage Beach, MO; Jeffrey (Lori) Wallin of Chillicothe; Lynnette Beck of Henderson, CO; and Lance Townsend of Northglenn, CO; and six grandchildren, Shaelyn Pagliaro; Travis Gerber; Brooke Wallin; Maya and Jackson Beck; and Shawnie Townsend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister Karen; and grandson, Bradley Wallin.
As a child Bronie and her parents were members of the First Baptist Church in Peoria. They enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing and were active in youth Bible studies. She graduated from Woodruff High School in 1963 and Peoria School of Nursing in 1965. Bronie worked as an LPN at St. Francis Hospital after graduation and retired from Galena Park Home in 2008. Bronie enjoyed spending time with her family in Lake of the Ozarks during the summer, boating and fishing. She and her many friends would go on annual trips and adventures to new places. Later in life she enjoyed Bible study group and attending Northwoods Community Church. She will be missed by her loving husband, family and her dog, Harley.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe, with a funeral service immediately following. Cremation will be accorded and burial will be at the Chillicothe City Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital and Hospice Compassus.
