Beverly Louise McCart, age 78, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at UnityPoint Health Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

Beverly was born on January 28, 1941 in Peoria, IL to Alfons and Helen (Martin) DeVos. She married Claude King in 1960 and he preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Bobby McCart on July 4, 1975 and he preceded her in death on March 12, 2016. Also preceding her in death are her parents and one son, Ricky King.

Surviving are her children, Tammy (Dan) Glass of East Peoria, IL, Holly (Guy) Reeder of Minonk, IL and Ed (Samantha) King of West Peoria, IL; four grandchildren, Bradley (Stephanie) Evelsizer, Christina Bly, Amanda (Shane) McCree and Cameron Pinkham; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill (Patricia) DeVos of Victoria, TX and Danny (Lisa) DeVos of East Peoria, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Beverly was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed reading and singing in the Gospel group, Glory Way, with her friends and her brother.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at noon at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, an organization very dear to her and to whom she donated to regularly.
