Benjamin E. Tiller, 38 of Chillicothe passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Born November 7, 1980 in Peoria, IL the son of Jack R. and Shelley L. (Hill) Tiller. He married Hillary S. Shalda on August 3, 2007 in Des Plaines, IL. Ben is survived by his wife Hillary, two children, Cecilia and Lucas; parents Jack and Shelley of Morton, IL; sister, Courtney (Scott) Morse of Morton, IL; brothers, Bryan (Jennifer) Tiller of Spanish Fort, AL and Bryce (Diane) Tiller of Indianapolis, IN Also surviving are his mother-in-law Deborah Williams of Evergreen Park, IL; father-in-law Walter (Diane) Shalda of Munster, IN and sisters-in- law, Samantha (Mohamed) Shalda of Woodbury, MN, Elise (Tony) Wright of Tampa, FL, Rachel (Chris) Fandel of Murfreesboro, TN, Whitney Shalda of Washington, DC, many nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Ben worked for ATandT for the past two years. He was a member of Pearce Community Center. Ben's deep and devotional love for his family and friends was unparalleled. He had a kindness that brought comfort into every corner. His laughter, distinctive and contagious, filled every room he entered. Though Ben will be missed immensely, his presence will forever remain in the hearts and minds of the many whom he loved and who love him. Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 5 - 7:00pm, Friday, November 16, 2018 at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Runs, Chillicothe, in memory of Ben Tiller at St. Jude Runs 4722 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria, IL 61614.
