Ann Estela Ordaz, 56 of Chillicothe passed away at 9:07am on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
Ann was born July 29, 1959 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Joseph Salvador and Maura Cecilia (Sanchez) de Ordaz.
Ann was a life-time resident of Chillicothe.
Surviving are her siblings Irene Ordaz, Salvador Ordaz, Henry Ordaz, William Ordaz, Sylvia M. Ordaz Lauber and Teresa M. Ordaz.
She was preceded in death by her father and siblings Robert Ordaz, Rebecca Ordaz and Victor Ordaz.
Ann worked at Dave Gill Trucks Inc. for 18 years.
She was a member of St. Edward parish in Chillicothe and her faith was deeply rooted in the Catholic faith.
Ann was a compassionate, tender-hearted loving woman and also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her love of music and sports ranged from classic rock to Christian spiritual. She was an avid and loyal Chicago Bears fan.
A visitation will be held form 5-7:00pm on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home, 1107 N 4th St. in Chillicothe. Deacon Gregory Luigi Serangeli will conduct a funeral service on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. The Ordaz family is especially grateful for their sincere, attentive and compassionate care.
