Timothy J. Gwozdz, 61, formerly of Whitehall Michigan, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria Illinois.
Tim was born on December 3, 1953 in Hamtramck, MI to Frank J. and Anna M. (Orlikowski) Gwozdz. He married Janice Faulkner on October 26, 1974 in Gaylord, MI.
Tim was a music connoisseur and a gifted artist. He loved sharing his appreciation of the arts by drawing pictures for and reading to his grandchildren. He was a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan and loved the Star Wars saga. Tim's ultimate passion was traveling with the love of his life, Jan. He was always planning their next adventure in Lucky.
Tim is survived by his best friend and wife of 41 years; two daughters, Anastasia (Joshua) Geisler of Whitehall, MI and Deborah (Jeffrey) Ribordy of Chillicothe, IL; 9 grandchildren, Bernard, Matthew, Joshua Jr, Evan, Lilian, Cadance, Riley, Aiden and Frankie.
There will be a celebration of Tim's life, held on his birthday, December 3, from 5-8 pm at Fricanos in Muskegon MI. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Kidney Fund. Tim's online obituary may be viewed at www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com
