Steven Shepperd

Steven Andrew Shepperd “Shep”, 57 of Utica, KY formerly of Peoria, died Thursday, March 25, 2021 at his home in Utica, Ky.

He was born December 11, 1963, in Peoria, IL the son of Linwood L. and Helen F. (Foote) Shepperd.

Surviving are his siblings, Cynthia Shepperd of Utica, KY, Linwood L. (and Maureen) Shepperd of Clovis, CA, Jeffery C. (and Marilyn) Shepperd of Grand Forks, ND and Mark G. (and Kathy) Shepperd of Creve Coeur, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Shep was a union iron worker primarily through the Iron Workers Local Union #25.

Shep was the most unique and charismatic human one ever met. He was kind, funny, loyal, abrasive and even cringe worthy at times.  He could make you mad one minute then come to your rescue the next.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Lutheran Cemetery, Peoria, IL.  Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com.
