Marjorie Carr

Marjorie M. Carr, 81, of Chillicothe passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Unitypoint Methodist, Peoria at 3:00pm on June 6, 2018. Marjorie was born on Nov. 26, 1936 in Peoria the son of William and Dorothy (Schaefer) Wirth. She married Merle Carr on June 10, 1956 in Peoria. Surviving are her children; Douglas (Tracy) Carr of Canton, Suzanne Farmer of Chillicothe, and Keith Carr of Chillicothe; grandchildren; Krystal, Angela, Daniel, Ashlee, Brandon, and Stephanie; sister, Francis (Gardener) Hatch of Peoria; and brother, George (Donna) Wirth of Delavan. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Edward. Marjorie's life was taking care of her family and she will be most notably remembered for her passion for taking care of children. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
