Henry Salter, age 62, of Chillicothe, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his home.

Henry was born on December 2, 1958 in Peoria, IL to Albert Salter and Ethel (Stewart) Hills.

Surviving are his brothers, Ron Hills of Murphysboro, TN and Mike Salter of Creve Coeur, IL as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dave Salter and Raymond Hills.

Henry earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Illinois Central College and had worked for Foster & Gallagher.  Henry was a past president of the Coalition of Disabled Citizens and was a big supporter of the Chopped For A Cause event for the St. Jude Rides.  He also enjoyed Hot Rod Muscle Cars and was a Ham Radio Operator.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 1pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.  Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Chillicothe City Cemetery immediately following the services.  Memorials in Henry’s name may be made to Chopped For A Cause for the St. Jude Rides.  Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com
