Bradley Ray Thompson, age 62, of Chillicothe, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Brad was born in Peoria, IL to Donald R. and Dorothy E. (Terry) Thompson. He married Linda M. Bornholdt on September 26, 1992 in Peoria.
Surviving are his wife, Linda; his mother, Dorothy; his brothers, Brian (Debbie) Thompson and Bruce (Chris) Thompson; his sister-in-laws, Debbie Hopkins, Cindy (Rod) Arnett, Letha (Rob) Pollard, and Laura (Forrest) White; and his nieces and nephews, Brianne Thompson, Brandon (Kristen) Thompson, Rebecca Thompson, Travis (Leah) Arnett, Melina (Jake) Bitner, Amanda (Pash) DeVore, Greg Chamberlain and Beth Slavens. He was preceded in death by his father.
Brad worked in sales for local distributors for over 40 years, retiring from Columbia Pipe & Supply Company. He was an avid sports fan, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Bears, and he was a nature lover.
A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at noon at Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Barnes Jewish Hospital Kidney Transplant Center or EP!C-Serving Disabled Individuals. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
